When Authority Speaks - Series 1

Connie Williams Consulting, Inc. is very excited about announcing our new blog that will give organizations and individuals innovative strategies for professional and personal growth and development.

When Authority Speaks™ - Series 1

During the next several blog posts, we will be exploring and discussing why “Authority” is so important in enhancing the potential of organizations and individuals.

How does it feel when you are given an assignment and are told to utilize your strengths, skills, and talents as an approach for completion of the outcome? How does it feel when you are completing the same assignment and are told to utilize unfamiliar approaches for the outcome? Which approach brings out the passion in you?  Is it better to spend time refining your strengths or refining your areas of development? In several instances, why does it appear that when a leader is disliked, their "Authority" goes unquestioned?

I'll like to hear your perspectives to these questions.

Stay tuned for more discussions on this incredible strategy that will enhance your potential!

Well when Im asked to complete an assignment to utilize my strengths I feel a since of pride that my work goes noticed and appreciated. On the other hand when assigned using different techniques other than what has been mastered I take it as something to improve on. Maybe even helping others improve by developing other ways to tackle the task at hand within their capabilities. With that being said it is always best to refine both strengths and weaknesses more attention to the weaknesses to keep your skills more flexible to any situation life may throw at you and in that aspect gives you more worth in the long run. As far as unquestioned authority goes I have never had that problem when there is always a learning curve even for the 1s with "Authority" because there is always something new in every aspect of life. Elaborate on "dislike leaders" because there are too many forms of dislike scenarios to give you a finite response.
